Jeremi Suri

Jeremi Suri is the E. Gordon Fox Professor of History, the Director of the European Union Center of Excellence, and the Director of the Grand Strategy Program at the University of Wisconsin. He is the author of three major books: Power and Protest: Global Revolution and the Rise of Detente (Harvard University Press, 2003), The Global Revolutions of 1968 (Norton, 2007), and Henry Kissinger and the American Century (Belknap Press of Harvard University Press, 2007). He is also the author of numerous articles in scholarly journals. Professor Suri's writings have appeared in prominent newspapers and magazines, including: the International Herald Tribune, the Boston Globe, the Chicago Tribune, the San Francisco Chronicle, the Wisconsin State Journal, and Wired Magazine. In 2007 Smithsonian Magazine named Professor Suri as one of America's "top young innovators" in the arts and sciences. He frequently lectures to academic and public groups around the country.
