Connecting Excellence on European Governance (CONNEX)

CONNEX seeks to integrate independent fundamental research and mobilise outstanding scholars from different disciplines to deepen our knowledge on European multilevel governance and build a Europe-wide research community which stands for scientific excellence.

European Union Center of Excellence
The European Union Center of Excellence seeks to improve understanding of the EU as a complex, evolving governance system and international actor; enhance awareness of the growing importance and widening scope of EU-US relations; and promote intensified "people-to-people" links among EU and US citizens.

Global Legal Studies Center (GLSC)
GLSC is a joint project of the University of Wisconsin Law School and the Office of International Studies and Programs. Through this initiative, the Law School and International Studies work together to promote the understanding of international, transnational, and comparative legal systems, processes and regimes and disseminate this knowledge to students and constituencies on and off campus.

International Institute Governance Research Circle
The Governance Research Circle brings together scholars from law, public policy, and the social sciences in a cross-campus research network to share ideas and findings concerning new developments in governance at the state, national, and international levels (for 2004-2005 activity report, click here).

New Modes of Governance Project (NEWGOV)
NEWGOV examines the transformation of governance in and beyond Europe by mapping, evaluating and analysing the emergence, execution, and evolution of 'New Modes of Governance'.

Wisconsin Project on Governance and Regulation (WISGAR)
The Wisconsin Project on Governance and Regulation (WISGAR) supports research, teaching, and outreach on new forms of governance and alternative approaches to regulation.
