Summer 2009 - A History of U.S. Grand Strategy - Online Course
This summer WAGE Senior Fellow and UW History Professor Jeremi Suri will teach an online course on the History of U.S. Grand Strategy. This pilot, graduate-level course explores how grand strategy shaped U.S. interactions with states, peoples and cultures during the 20th century, offering a fresh perspective on America’s foreign policy successes and failures.
The course will run for eight weeks, from June 15 to August 7, 2009. Each week, new lectures and downloadable reading assignments will be posted to the course website. The online format allows you to view materials at your convenience, post comments and questions on a class message board, and engage in online discussion with the instructor and fellow classmates.
